Check-in felt painfully outdated. it took ages with staff juggling multiple papers and systems. The room showed signs of neglect—peeling walls and rust in the shower were noticeable. The air conditioning barely worked, leaving the room uncomfortably warm. Dining at the buffet was underwhelming, and having to make reservations in advance for restaurants added unnecessary hassle. The elevators in the main building are slow and only two are available, which could be frustrating during peak times.

We had an amazing time with friends at this resort! The beach was stunning, and the exclusive infinity pool for adults was a perfect chill spot. The nightlife is just a short stroll away, so we enjoyed some late-night fun too. Just keep in mind, the food can get repetitive.

The location of the Krystal in Cancun is amazing, right by the beach with stunning views from the balcony. I enjoyed the comfortable bed with lovely linens. However, the hotel needs to improve on certain aspects. The check-in process was quite slow, and one of the elevators was frequently out of order. This made it frustrating at times, especially during peak hours with so many guests. Beach lounge chairs were limited, making it difficult to find a spot after the morning rush. The meal plan for the all-inclusive package was a bit confusing. I struggled with the reservation system that seemed to fill up quickly. At times, the room temperature was uncomfortably warm even after reporting it. The pillows also had a strange odor until they were replaced. Overall, the beautiful beach made up for some of the inconveniences I experienced, but there's definitely room for improvement.
